Gian Carlo looks over the
new Lola B02/50
The Minardi Euro3000 Team has
signed Uruguayan driver Juan Carceres who already lined up with GP Racing --Tancredi
Pagiaro’s team that now bears the former F1 team’s name-- last year. For the
first race at Adria, (about 1 hour south of Venice) on April 9th Brazilian
Tuka Rocha will race alongside Carceres, replacing regular driver Roldan
Rodriguez.
The Spaniard also competes in Spanish F3 this year. The change of schedule
in the Euro3000 series meant that there was a clash between the race at
Adria the inaugural event of the Spanish series in Valencia.
It has not been ruled out that Minardi will deploy a third Lola B02/50 for
Rocha for the rest of the season.
