it’s over 6 months since Red Bull brought Minardi. How has the change been?
Massimo-A STRONG ONE. WE ARE REALLY PUSHING DOING A LOT OF TESTING MUCH MORE THAN IN THE
PAST. WHAT WE JUST MISS IS THE CHANCE TO THINK, DESIGN AND BUILD A 100% OF
THE CAR. NOW WE ARE PART OF A BIG GROUP, SO MUST RESPECT OBVIOUS RULES.

many of the Ex Minardi mechanics and other personnel continue to work for
Toro Rosso?
Massimo-EVERYBODY! WE JUST EMPLOYED SOME NEW ONES AS WE TEST MORE

Berger came in late. Has his experience as both a driver and his former
position with BMW been important to the team?
Massimo- FOR SURE WE WILL GET A LOT FROM HIS EXPERIENCE.

suffered at the back of the F1 grid for too many years. Toro Rosso are
fighting for mid grid slots this must be satisfying?
Massimo- RACING IN THE MIDDLE IS SO EXCITING! HONESTLY IS NOT PROPERLY THE
MIDDLE…

lot of controversy about the V10 engines seems to have died down but do you
see the V10 as an option for 2007?
Massimo-IN THEORY IT’S AN OPTION, BUT POLITICS SUGGEST TO GIVE UP… I
PERSONALLY THINK WE SHOULD GET V8 FOR 2007

What sort of development can we expect for the 2007 STR? Will we see a new
Faenza designed car?
Massimo- THIS IS THE QUESTION. I THINK 2007 WILL BE A MIXTURE OF SKILLS. WE
WILL PUSH TO PUT THE BIGGER PERCENTAGE IN FAENZA…

Minardi has gone on to the Euroseries 3000 with GP racing. Do you follow
this series?

-NOT AT ALL AS I DON’T HAVE TIME. WHEN HAVE FREE TIME I JUST THINK ABOUT MY
FAMILY! I AM SURE GIANCARLO WILL DO WELL.

is your Bike racing career going?
Massimo- CAREER??? I HAVEN'T USED THE BIKE IN ONE AND ½ YEARS! I MISS IT SO
MUCH!
