It has been officially announced that Gian Carlo Minardi
has decided not to accept the 1 year contract offered by Red Bull/Scuderia
Toro Rosso.
20 years after founding the team he has finally called it
a day. Our friend Roberta Leonardi who worked closely with Gian Carlo for
over 16 years told us of the sadness he felt leaving the Formula One team.
Where does this leave the MCSF? Well at present Roberta is
looking into the club system to support Toro Rosso. President Emmett
Quigley will be waiting to hear from her and then decisions will be made.
Hopefully all members of the MCSF will continue to support the ladies and
gents at Faenza and keep the Minardi spirit alive. Emmett would like your
